Permanent speed restriction of 60Kmph has been relaxed by realignment of up line curve at Bhairogarh yard in Nagad-Godhra section of Ratlam division.

It will ensure safety as well as enhance speed over the section.

🟩The work of Automatic Signalling between Khadki to Pune (5 Route KM) in Pune-Lonavala section has been successfully commissioned on 26/11/2023 Sunday.

With commissioning of this last section, the work of Automatic signalling in entire Pune-Lonavala section of 64 track km has been completed.

🟩Salient features of the commissioned work for Automatic Signalling between KHADKI-PUNE section are:

1) 2 New Automatic signals have been commissioned and alterations have been done in 7 existing signals.

2) 9 new track circuits have been commissioned.

3) Alteration in Pune RRI (Route Relay Interlocking) for change in aspect of signals also done in this work.

4) Provision of 11 number of AWS (auxiliary warning system) track magnets.

5) Provision of Electronic Interlocking at Khadki of 112 routes.

6) Interlocking of 4 lines of Military yard in addition to 4 main line working lines

7) Conversion of Alstom track circuits into DC track circuits of 34 track circuits and new DC track circuit provision of 20 numbers in Khadki and Khadki- Shivajinagar automatic section.

8) Replacement of other outdoor gears of 35 point machines, 18 main signals and 14 shunt signals

9) New Wiring for Level crossing gate no. 63 and no. 62A gates.

10) Provision of dual detection of all track circuits of Khadki.

11) Provision of display for both sides automatic signalling in VDU (Visual display unit) room

12) Provision of fire alarm system with 53 detectors with aspirations system in Electronic interlocking room and with LHS cable

13) Provision of new IPS at Khadki

14) Provision of standby conventional power supply system with auto- changeover arrangement

15) Provision of standby fuse alarm system for all fuses

16) Shifting of telecom gears from old OFC (optical fibre cable) Hut to new OFC Hut

17) Alteration in Panel interlocking at Shivajinagar for automatic signalling

With commissioning of this Automatic signaling, the line capacity of Pune-Lonavala section will increase and human dependency for train operation will be minimized.

9) Track Through fitting Renewal work for 6.5 km in kamshet to dapodi section
