Words froze the second I was face-to-face with the God of Cricket.

Standing before a Bharat Ratna has a way of humbling you into silence. But somewhere past the racing heartbeat, the lifelong fan in me found its voice.

I spoke from the heart, and the Master listened. A lifetime encapsulated in one unforgettable minute. 🏏❤️

Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways. From watching AK sir on posters, stickers, and in movies, to sitting next to him.

I spent the last six days from breakfast to late dinner next to him, observing him, talking with him, and hearing his jokes.

I understood how much I love AK sir; even when I was with Vijay sir in the lounge, my heart was racing watching AK on TV, praying for his safety and wondering if I should go to the paddock because only Srikanth anna was with him.

The awe and dopamine rush I get every time I see AK sir is incredible.

After days of traveling and time spent at the circuit, I feel like I need a month to recover, yet AK sir has happily flown to Barcelona for his next race. I wonder how he manages to pull this off.

The amount of "Amma" he says with pain while sitting always makes my heart break. He could easily live a millionaire's life, but he is chasing his passion.

May God always be with AK sir. You are so Kind. Love you forever, sir. I miss you!

It was so moving to see Solomon Pappaiah on TV one last time. It was only fitting that his last speech ended ever so gracefully on a note of hope for the future generations. Even at 90, he never said anything along the lines of, “enga kaalam than porkalam.” I loved that he urged the previous generations to not alienate Gen Zs and instead find a way to have a healthy dialogue with them. It was touching to hear him say that if the Gen Z kids failed, it would actually reflect poorly on their predecessors.

May your soul rest in peace, Aiyya. Thank you for all the laughs and the positive vibes that you spread in your lifetime.

I was reminded of this interview of his and how I was struck by his humility.
