Beyond shocking.
When a nation begins to fear its own history, censorship becomes its most dangerous weapon.
I unequivocally condemn the unexplained removal of #Satluj from Zee5 India. A film that compels India to confront one of Punjab's darkest chapters and portrays the alleged human rights violations of the 1980s–90s, brought to light through the courageous struggle of S. Jaswant Singh Khalra, has suddenly been made unavailable without any transparent explanation.
Propaganda-driven films such as The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story were promoted and screened without obstruction. Yet when a film raises uncomfortable questions about the human rights violations and atrocities in Punjab, it disappears from an OTT platform. Why? Who is afraid of Punjab's truth?
By blocking #Satluj, the @BJP4India has exposed its true face. It is yet another reminder of its deep discomfort with Punjab's truth and its persistent prejudice against Punjab.
I strongly urge the Government to ensure that #Satluj is reinstated without delay. History must be confronted with honesty, not buried through silence & censorship.

ਭਾਰਤੀ ਜਨਤਾ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਹੱਦਾਂ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ, ਤਖ਼ਤ ਸੱਚਖੰਡ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ 'ਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਝੀ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਰਚੀ ਹੈ।
70 ਸਾਲ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ 'ਨਾਂਦੇੜ ਐਕਟ' ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਠੋਕੇ 12 ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨਾਮਜ਼ਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ,SGPC ਦੀ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦਗੀ ਘਟਾ ਕੇ ਨਾ ਮਾਤਰ ਕਰਨ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਦੀਆਂ ਪੁਰਾਣੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਦਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਖੁਦਮੁਖਤਿਆਰੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਹਮਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਡੇ ਤਖ਼ਤ ਕਿਸੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਖੁਦ ਮੁਖਤਿਆਰ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਹਣ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦਾ ਡਟ ਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਜੁੱਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ, ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਤਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਜਾਇਦਾਦ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗੇ। ਏਕਤਾ, ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਦੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਹਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਬਣ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਨ ਦਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ।
ਪੰਥ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਖੁਦਮੁਖਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਬਹੁ-ਧਾਰਮਿਕ, ਬਹੁ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਰਪੱਖ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਖ਼ਤਰਾ ਹਨ।
ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਇਸ ਭੜਕਾਊ ਅਤੇ ਗੈਰ-ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਫ਼ੈਸਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ|

The @BJP4India led,Maharashtra government has crossed every red line with its sinister conspiracy to snatch control of Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib, one of Sikhism’s five sacred Thrones.
By gutting the 70-year-old Nanded Act, they’re installing 12 handpicked nominees, slashing SGPC’s voice, and erasing centuries-old Sikh institutions. This isn’t reform. This is a brazen trespass on the autonomy of our shrines and a direct assault on Sikh religious sovereignty.
Our Takhts are not instruments of the State. They are the spiritual institutions of the Sikh Panth. Any attempt to erode their independence will be met with united and determined resistance.
We, the Sikh Panth, will never allow any government to seize our sacred Takhts and turn them into state property. True to our ethos of unity, courage and justice, we call upon every Sikh to rise as one voice. The Panth will not tolerate these ulterior motives ,they endanger our religious sovereignty and strike at the very heart of India's diverse, secular fabric.
The BJP government must withdraw this provocative assault immediately.

Yesterday, I had the honour of inaugurating a vibrant new Open Gym in Saini Majra village, Kharar,a proud milestone in our ongoing mission to build a healthier, stronger, and more vibrant Punjab.
From Palaheri and Machhli Kalan to Abheypur, Fatehgarh and beyond, multiple open and indoor gyms are now serving our communities under MPLAD.
In Kharar Vidhan Sabha alone, development works worth ₹2.05 crore have been sanctioned and inaugurated across 63 villages under MPLAD. Whether it is open gyms, solar lights, public benches, village phirnis, classrooms or water tankers, every rupee has been invested with a clear purpose,to strengthen local infrastructure and improve the quality of life in our villages. Development earns its meaning only when it reaches the people and makes a difference in their daily lives.

The attempt to rewrite the University’s Senate and Syndicate was a brazen assault on its autonomy and democratic character. Panjab University, older than the Republic itself cannot be reduced to a pawn in the BJP’s political experiments.
This rollback came only after massive resistance from every punjabi who stood firm for Punjab’s dignity and the University’s legacy. Their collective voice has prevailed ,but justice still demands accountability.
Who delayed the Senate elections?
Who authorised this unconstitutional overreach?
Who tried to trample the University’s autonomy?
Punjab will not accept silence as an answer.
Retraction is not redemption — accountability must follow.
Panjab University is the living conscience of Punjab, resilient, free, and unyielding.
And any hand that dares to subvert it must know, Punjab resists, and Punjab remembers.

दिल्ली में भाजपा सरकार के आने के बाद निजी स्कूलों का माफिया दोबारा ज़िंदा हो गया और मनमाने ढंग से फीस बढ़ा दी। बीजेपी सरकार भी इन शिक्षा माफियाओं के साथ ही खड़ी है।
शिक्षा माफिया और सरकार की तानाशाही से परेशान होकर अब बच्चों के अभिभावक सड़कों पर उतर रहे हैं और विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं।

पहले सड़क हादसों में होने वाली मौतों की संख्या जानकर हैरानी होती थी। इन हादसों को रोकने के लिए हमने सड़क सुरक्षा फोर्स (SSF) बनाई, जिसकी वजह से 48% मौतों में कमी आई। हमारी सरकार द्वारा बनाई गई SSF की सराहना संसद में केंद्रीय परिवहन मंत्री ने भी की।
