Bad officiating calls are going to happen but we have seen 3-4 terrible ones in this game go against Alabama. Definitely had an impact on the outcome tonight.
FOOTBALL WEATHER: For tonight's Alabama/Georgia game (6:30p CT kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium), the sky will be mostly cloudy with temperatures falling from near 70 at kickoff into the mid 60s by the final whistle.
A little light rain or drizzle can't be ruled out, but most of the night will be dry. Winds will be in the 7-14 mph range.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT NOTES: Isaias will likely be a hurricane late tonight or early tomorrow. The new NHC advisory package will be out at 10p CT. Winds are now 65 mph, reconnaissance aircraft are in the area now.
*A Hurricane Watch is in effect for the northern Gulf Coast from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to Indian Pass, Florida. This includes all of the Alabama Gulf Coast. A hurricane warning will likely be issued for the Alabama coast late tonight or early tomorrow morning.
*In anticipation of the expected impacts from Tropical Storm Isaias, the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are encouraging all non‑residents, and residents living in low-lying, flood prone areas to voluntarily evacuate. City officials urge all individuals who are not permanent residents to leave the area immediately and relocate to a safer location. Departing now will help reduce congestion, support emergency operations, and ensure the safety of those who may be most vulnerable during the storm.
*The latest NHC track shows landfall near Perdido Key Friday night around midnight. Winds at the time of landfall are still expected to be in the 95-100 mph range. As you look at the maps, remember a hurricane is not just a dot or a skinny black line. Wind and rain impacts will extend far from the center, mainly on the eastern side of the system.
*A five to seven foot storm surge is forecast for the Alabama coast and Mobile Bay. This could be adjusted; the highest storm surge will be along and east of the point of landfall, across the Florida Panhandle.
*Rain amounts could exceed 6 inches along the coast Friday through Saturday morning. The most significant rain and wind on the coast will come from 12 noon Friday to 12 noon Saturday.
*Saturday will be a windy, wet day for inland Alabama. Rain amounts of 2-4 inches are possible over the western half of the state, with 1-2 inches over North and East Alabama. Winds could gust to 40/50 mph over West Alabama as Isaias moves northward.
*A few tornadoes are possible Saturday morning, mainly over the southern half of Alabama.
*A good chance much of the rain will be over in time for the Alabama/Georgia game in Tuscaloosa, and the Zach Bryan concert in Auburn. There will still be a risk of showers at both venues, but not the widespread rain we will experience Saturday morning.
*The weather improves on the coast by late Saturday morning with a clearing sky and diminishing wind. The rest of the weekend and all of next week will be dry.
*Rain will move out of North Alabama Saturday night, and Sunday will be warm and dry statewide.
And, remember, with any tropical system forecast changes are likely, so keep up with the latest updates.

The Annual National Shrimp Festival has been cancelled due to Tropical Storm Isaias.
Event organizers made every effort to move forward with the festival this year. However, due to the forecast of high winds, heavy surf, and rain throughout the weekend, the safety of our visitors, vendors, volunteers, and staff must remain our top priority.
We appreciate everyone’s understanding as we make this difficult decision.
Forecasters predict Isaias will become a hurricane by Thursday as it turns northward toward the U.S. Gulf Coast. Though its path and timing could shift, the storm is expected to make landfall late Friday or early Saturday. https://t.co/mBap8FZBEo

Alabama has more former players on active NFL rosters than any other college.
Each year, the Crimson Tide produce some of the league’s premier talent.
Here are how former Alabama players fared in Week 2 of the 2026 NFL season:
Nobody is talking about how Alabama WR Rico Scott has been blocking, and more people need to be. This dude is doing DIRTY work in the run game. Film study incoming
Dallas Turner is keeping Khyree Jackson’s nameplate on his Vikings locker.
They played together at Alabama and were supposed to reunite in Minnesota before Jackson tragically lost his life before his rookie season.
A powerful way to keep his teammate’s memory alive
EJ Crowell and Trae’Shawn Brown each have a rushing TD in their first 3 games.
They are the first Alabama RB duo in the 21st century to accomplish that. They are also the first freshmen in Alabama history to accomplish that as well.
