Just got back from NY City Marathon. We should have a Lancaster Marathon. It brought thousands of people into the city.

Carrol is in Paris, and I am already realizing how much she takes care of me. She called at 2pm. Asked what I had eaten. A banana & coffee

Great news is they did not crack my chest. Bad news is where they insert the tubes and how many people watch when at a teaching hospital.

UCLA is going to fix my heart today. Dr. will try to put in stents but thinks they will have to crack my chest. He must think I'm a nut.

Went to a funeral yesterday. Saw a sea of white heads and then realized one of them was mine. Our time here is too short.

Closing arguments are tomorrow and then jumping in the car to make it to the council meeting. It will be an exhausting day.

Back into another trial with my daughter Ashley. She has become a great trial lawyer. Watching her examine a witness is a beautiful thing.

A local issue is "Should we change the name of Gilley Park." I had emails sent to 10,000 voters. Results to date: Yes 343 No 327

If you haven't gotten a flu shot this season, you should probably get one today.

[R Rex Parris @rrexparris]

Following the swine flu story. This will end up killing a lot of people before it is over.

In a few hours, we are announcing the most significant crime drop in the history of Lancaster, and we've yet to roll out the good stuff.
