Today, on National Police Officer Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
We pay special tribute to the fallen heroes of the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office and the Metropolitan Detention Center. Their service, courage, and dedication to our community will never be forgotten.

Atrisco Heritage has found its new head boys basketball coach: it is Reyes Hernandez, being promoted from assistant coach. He takes over the Jaguars from Steve Heredia who left recently to take the Rio Rancho job,

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office urgently seeks public assistance in locating missing 16-year-old, Hailey Archuleta. Hailey was last seen at Rio Grande High School near Arenal Rd SW and Foothill Rd SW on February 28th, 2025. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black joggers, black socks with black crocs. Due to her age and circumstances around her disappearance, law enforcement is concerned for her safety.
