Scotchy scotch scotch! In normal times we combine our birthday with Robbie Burns' birthday. Although there is no Celtic band or free haggis and neeps, we acknowledge Mr. Burns' big day by having every single Single Malt on sale today! Come toast the Bush and the Bard on a budget!
The first step is to talk it out. The Saskatchewan Farm Stress Line is here to listen. Whether you are looking for support for yourself or to support a loved one, it’s just a phone call away: 1-800-667-4442. #FarmStress https://t.co/qLXmiE0iEh
Five more SK covid deaths today. Three aged 40-59, two aged 60-79. They lived in FNW, CE, Regina (2) and SE. Since SK removed all public health restrictions 4 months ago we have lost this many people to preventable covid:
12x 20-39
31x 40-59
112x 60-79
127x 80+
So tragic.
Good Morning, It's an early start off to the farm have things that have to get done today. Oh, Cargill still can't pay its bills on time. Have a great day all.

Today, Alberta reported 38 more deaths related to COVID-19. This is heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones.
There were 652 new cases. 1,027 Albertans are in hospital, and 235 fighting in ICU.
Please, we must keep protecting each other.
“All of the patients that are admitted in the ICU (in Fort McMurray) are unvaccinated and they’re very sick,” said Jennifer Richard, who didn’t hesitate when the Alberta government issued a call for help.

It's all partisanship, politics, numbers.
Until it's a loved one needing an ICU bed, and there isn't one.
Until it's your child needing therapy, and it's not there.
Until it's you being told the hip replacement you've waited years for, is cancelled.
Then, suddenly, it's REAL.
Over 72000 diagnosed cases. 753 deaths. Unimaginable amounts of suffering. A devastated healthcare system on the brink, forced to cancel ALL elective & MANY critical surgeries.
That's #COVID19 in Saskatchewan.
Let's all NEVER forget: it did NOT have to be this way.

A COVID-19 experience...
“We are a large family in a small space...so when 1 gets sick, we all get it.” When COVID-19 hit the Wiebe home, those vaccinated didn't get it or had mild cases. Those unvaccinated (too young to be eligible) had a harder time

F***! 356 in hospital, 76 in #SK ICUs. BOTH new records. 7 more deaths. 121 dead last 30 days.
Comparatively, if we were #ON: 4450 in hospital, 950 in ICU, 1500 dead in 30 days.
Sorry, everyone. I know nobody's listening. I just don't know what to do any longer.
