@evietella “D:/ DETECTION OF GW 3.06.0451 // NIKULOV. LOADING…”
Nikulov is a reference to Sergei? GW is, I think, gravitational wave. Perhaps the old Soviet Mars 94 craft detected a nearby black hole, key to S6, the quest for near lightspeed, and concluding w/ a mission to Alpha Centauri)
It’s almost always a mistake to purchase newly announced gear before a show like Superbooth has ended. You never know what else is going to debut. So I made sure to order the new Sonicware MINIMAL last night before the show even starts 🤣
@LawDogStrikes My entry point into the hobby! Many lunch hours and after-school sessions with this then GEV, quickly evolving into other microgames including Melee and Wizard, and on to Basic D&D and Advanced, Avalon Hill and SPI, etc.

I see now that some of my research was wrong. It was difficult in 2009 to research Japanese TRPG history only through internet and limited postings! But it was a satisfying project.
@showya_kiss (USA here) I find your posts fascinating! I do not know why these topics showed up in my feed, but I’m glad they did. I have been a fan of TRPGs since 1978. In 2009, I found the Tsukada “Enterprise” game and unofficially translated it into English, and posted my research.
@cdmblogs@CasioMusicGear Definitely exciting! I’ll forgive the battery life (as you indicate, there are workarounds) as long as they got MIDI right. Standalone is fun, but being able to integrate it with some other gear would make it a must-have for this Casio fanboy.
@TomoyaJuku Believe it or not, I agree with you! It is a difficult balance, a marketing “bullet point.” Years ago, we had a synth with over 1,100 presets. I said, “Let’s not do that again.” 😄 Around 300 in several categories seems reasonable to me, but what do you think?
@WesternCiv9@TomoyaJuku It was not financial difficulty. Brad moved from the USA back to the UK, so he has to re-start the business under a new structure and name. More S2400s are coming, and Caladan synthesizer is still coming.
@asmootharchitec ARP Pro Soloist (1972) under the SH-2000. This picture is from around the time he recorded “Heaven and Hell” (1975), and probably preceded the CS-80 (1977). It is unlikely that this photo is Vangelis composing Blade Runner in 1981.
40th anniversary tribute for #TalkTalk’s ‘Life's What You Make It,’ and in memory of Mark Hollis, who passed away Feb 25, 2019). Composed entirely with @SonicwareInc ELZ_1 Play #synthesizer
@NicaFelt I was having difficulty with the looper and its options until I read your very clear post about it on Medium. You saved me a great deal of frustration. Thank you! https://t.co/GimduwQANC
It took some time to master the workflow of the @SonicwareInc ELZ_1 Play #synthesizer/looper, but it was absolutely worth it. The size is small, but the sound is big, and I couldn’t have had a better way to ride out the snowstorm this weekend.
