Huge credit to @RepJasonSmith and @WaysandMeansGOP for delivering on President Trump's agenda of across-the-board tax cuts for every income level. This bill will grow the economy, increase take-home pay and make the U.S. more competitive with China. Smith & committee began this process over 2 years ago by holding field hearings across the country to ensure this bill was built for small businesses and the middle class. This tax bill would not have happened without their tireless efforts.

Presdient Trump ran on making all the tax rates reductions permanent.
Kamala Harris ran on letting the top income tax rates reductions passed by Trump to spring back to the higher pre-Trump/Obama tax rate.
All tax rate increases damage economic growth and kill jobs by disincentivizing work and investment.

President Trump is Correct.
Trump campaigned in 2016, 2020 and 2024 demanding across the board income tax cuts. Cuts. For All Americans.
If Republicans in the House or Senate break this Trump campaign promise (Kamala Harris ran promising to raise the top tax rate.) there would, as the president reminds us, be another bloodbath costing Republicans the midterms.
