May 1 Communiqué - Riverside is still targeting the opening dates of its schools for May 11th (HSS) & May 19th for schools, however, we are giving ourselves the right to change the opening dates if we foresee that our schools are not ready to receive students. Safety First!
Students often aren’t aware of how much their emotions affect their schoolwork. @kendalrolley asks students to create a positive "mantra" they can refer back to if feeling unmotivated or anxious. https://t.co/HS812PFwmW
LEADERS! Even if you have been doing this work for 5 YRS, 10 YRS, or 20 YRS...always remember that it could be their FIRST and ONLY with you. When we create VALUE and CONNECTION they won’t want it to end. Have a great year! #leadfromwhereyouare#hackingleadership#1minwalk2work
Thanks to our principal for creating a school culture where teachers can connect with students outside classroom! @PrincipalWCMS At home I play with my kids, students are my kids when at school, same rule applies. @edutopia@teacher2teacher
LEADERS! School is starting! It’s hard to take care of kids when we don’t have time to take care of each other. The most important thing to get ready in classrooms IS THE ADULT IN THAT SPACE. Give them opportunities to connect with colleagues. #1minwalk2work#leadfromwhereyouare
