Existing school transport applications will automatically roll over into the new school year.
A great afternoon meeting one of our MEPs @MariaWalshEU. As our representative in Brussels, Maria discussed key issues such as equality and inclusion. Thanks to @EUErasmusPlus for the opportunity.
Our 6th year Engineering students had a great day out in @Combilift. Brilliant guided tour with state of the art manufacturing facility. Gave us a real insight of every step of manufacture of various forklifts. Many thanks for the tour and to Mr. McGuigan for organising it.

Thank you to the McDowell family for donating this Hex picnic Table in memory of their beautiful daughter. Abby was an inspirational student and friend who is greatly missed by all at Royal School Cavan.
This week a past pupil Pauline Allen (Bird), 90 years young visited, who attended from 1945-'50 and recalled her time here fondly...the hot water bottles, the horse hair mattresses which caused havoc for her asthma and most of all the great friends that she made.
Congratulations to our Prefects, who organised our fundraiser for @Barretstown. So far we have raised €2000. A huge thank you to all who donated to this worthy cause.
We are really looking forward to our annual RSC Carols by Candlelight service this evening in Cavan Parish Church at 7pm. Please join us if you can. It is great to be able to host this in person and in church once again! Happy Christmas everyone!
Why not join us for our show "In the Mix" with the overarching theme of 'Diversity & Inclusion'. There will be medleys from the Greatest Showman and Mamma Mia musicals, solo performances, Hip-Hop dancing, music group performances and monologues. Tickets available from the school.
Harvest/Halloween Party for 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils from our local primary schools. A great night was had by all. Well done to all who put in such a brilliant effort into dressing up for the night. Spectacular or even "Spooktacular!"
