The eggs that made a good choice! Each of these eggs choose to protect their heads with a helmet. Four, Year 5 sessions today talking about the importance of wearing a Helmet with the students from Malcolm Sergeant Primary School.

An important #FathersDay message from me…WEAR A HELMET ! This week I had a bad accident while riding my bike in CT. I'm doing ok and I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at @LMHospital who looked after me but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Be Safe

Superb day at Clough and Risegate with Years 1/2, 3/4, and 5/6 discussing road safety. We explored how to be a safe pedestrian in Walk Safe, debated risk or safe behaviours and discussed the importance of wearing a helmet. The JRSO’s also delivered an assembly for ‘Fun on Wheels’

After 30 years the wonderful Maggie can now take on her new adventure, retirement! The teachers and pupils celebrated Maggie’s service during this morning’s assembly. The passing of lollipop to Luke wouldn’t have been complete without the teachers being crossed on her final duty.
