@EWErickson Shameful behavior. I’m sorry you and your wife are going through this troubled time and I wish you the best. Anyone who makes things worse for you is contemptible. At times like these, politics are irrelevant.
@RosemaryMcL@JoyceCarolOates You said it better than I did. I’ve always been shocked and perplexed by this. I guess being right when others get proven wrong must be punished.
@OrinKerr All things being equal, I would pick a school in a city I would consider living in. You make connections, may clerk or intern, and it’s just easier job hunting. I’ve seen a lot of people stay even though that wasn’t their original intention.
@AllisonRFloyd Because Daddy is home, angry and pulling out the belt. And they hope their sister will be the one getting beat, not them. Or little brother. And they enjoy that others are getting hurt. It’s very creepy.
@JesterJum I work in juvenile court on abuse neglect cases. We regularly say, I’m Mom, or I’m Dad, to identify our roles as attorneys for parties. I’m sure it sounds weird but it’s just a shorthand. Similar here.
@KurtSchlichter Surely Kurt is describing the trans people in bathrooms or sports obsession and the illegal immigrants voting obsession that the right wing has been using to distract the rubes from real issues, right? Those obsessions are baloney.
@BraddrofliT We have a “let’s blame the brown people for an inconsequential # of illegal votes to distract the public from real issues” problem. Shaking confidence in the election system is a bonus that pleases the whiny bitch in the Whitehouse.
@barb010160@JamesSurowiecki@allie__voss You are not pointing to evidence, just your conclusions. Voter fraud is exceedingly rare. It’s a fantasy sold to people who don’t like election results.
@barb010160@JamesSurowiecki@allie__voss Is the cheating in the room with us now? I’m tired of baseless claims of cheating, and especially noncitizen voting, that undermine faith in elections. There are so many real issues that time, effort, and resources should be spent on rather than this fantasy of voter fraud.
@HRH_SHP@SykesCharlie I’ve rarely seen an attorney act in a less professional manner. And I’ve been an attorney since the late ‘80s. She is an embarrassment to the profession. Bringing a binder of preplanned insults but no substantive answers.
