Here @kekman is explaining to the experts how citizen science can provide knowledge for policy. Pretty cool 😎 @WatneAgot and @enza_lissa are practising deep listening.
The last two days have been quite interesting. In the @NordForsk funded program ‘Sustainable Urban Development and Smart Cities’, @NordicPATH_ met the other three projects for midterm evaluations and to discuss synergies and Nordic added value.
Last week I participated in bylivskonferansen (urban life konference) organised by @arkitektur_no to host a session on scenarios for sustainable second home development together with Jin Xue. The session included politicians, developers, planners and architects. Interesting!
Having finished my phd thesis on the sustainability of the Norwegian second home phenomenon five years ago, coming back to Norway to see the thoughts I had then, now being discussed and considered, was really rewarding.
Throughout the conference and at our session, many expressed concerns towards the present state of planning and development exaggerated by covid lockdowns and economic prosperity in Norway. Diverse actors openly discussing degrowth as needed was eye opening!
Stellar kickstarter talk of our STI Policies and Co-Production panel by Rasmus N. Steffansen @RSteffansen on Knowledge Co-Production on Air Quality: The Role of Planning Reseafh in Participatory, Healthy, and People-Centered Cities.
So adjacent to our work with @UoE_EFI_Civics!
