Look at this. Mumbai’s famous Suleman Usman Bakery is preparing mithai right inside the debris of the BMC-demolished 30 Noor Manzil building. Workers sit on the ground packing trays amid open rubble, while open gutters run nearby. Rats and other insects freely roam the area. Hygiene is non-existent.

Please check their licences. It is highly doubtful they follow any proper food-safety regulations.

As a dashing officer, we have full faith in you. Request you to take immediate action in your signature style. Public health cannot be compromised.

Tender for the demolished site was issued by the Maintenance Department. School and hospital are right next to it, yet this debris has been lying here for the past 3 years. Who will take accountability BMC B Ward or the contractor who got the demolition contract to remove this debris? Who will be responsible for the diseases that will spread because of this?

The tender for the demolition of Building No. 30, Noor Manzil on Mohammed Ali Road was issued by BMC. After demolition, the contractor left the debris without cleaning.

It has been 3 years, yet the debris is still lying there. There is a hospital, bakery, and residential buildings nearby, causing serious inconvenience and health concerns.

Since the tender was issued, proper cleaning should also have been ensured.

Kindly direct the contractor to clear the debris immediately and take strict action against them for this negligence.
