@SHEKARSUSHEEL Rafi number is Rafi Number, though the Manhar Udhas version touches soul in a different way, especially due to the haunting shehnai or something in the end.
@dhwaninanavati Depends on your upbringing and resulting within instilled moral compass, which will give your own definition to ‘positive outcomes’ and what you can invest for those. It’s a comforting hypothesis that good happens to good people - something on which organized religions are based.
Only when I go home, I experience the joy of taking bath using a bucket & a mug instead of a shower. We do have a shower. But hear me out.
Shower is linear streaming. Predictable. You get numb to the flow, the temperature. You do your stuff & get out. Bucket & Mug teaches your body to do batch-processing of water.
Only when you use a mug to pour cold water over your head, that you feel the adrenaline of being waterboarded. That reflex of your body, when it feels it’s about to drown. That’s the fun.
There is also the fun of performing buoyancy experiments with the mug as you sit there, with the tap filling up the bucket. There is no guilt of wasting water, as you happily apply soap/shampoo as the water accumulates in the bucket.
Also the noise you create, which makes the entire neighborhood realise someone is taking bath and not a shower. Pls try it one of these days ;)
@saraswatsamarth On non access controlled highways, it is wise to maintain safe distance and foot on brakes using anticipation at mergers points. Secondly, as far as possible visibility through Windshield and rear window should be ensured.
@Tanvi_23x@PrinceOf_Darkns@grok That coupled with the compulsion of attaining required headroom for the railway track clearance. Else they could have gone with low gradient in the straight-line.
Is the tolerance of fabricated CVs driven by the need for the employee to be able to oversell when hired (hoodwinking desired quality)? Is that why underpar academic performance and subject depth gets covered by ‘business-like’ qualities?
@sairahul1 Therefore, Indian diaspora in US and other developed nations should be credited and respected by the ‘natives’ for doggedly building those societies, with the value flowing back being limited to remittances and may be some sponsorships.
@sairahul1 Indians in offshore (US) universities, research centres and corporations work ethically and loyally, and there is hardly any seepage/flow of fundamental research back to India. In Tech domain, Indians and India are IP reliable entities. So the analogy extends to many Industries.
@Imsonali0 Keep alternating to no avail among the brand disservice centre, local looters and the aggregated amateurs. If you succeed at making them turn-up they will ….-up things pretty well. Each one of the three classes had a different diagnosis in my latest episode. +advice ‘Naya le lo’
As soon as summer starts, I got my AC serviced.
The technician came, cleaned it with water, and then the same old script began:
“Ma’am, the gas has leaked.”
“The valve is leaking.”
“There’s a hole in the coil.”
And then the bill: ₹350 for cleaning
₹2000 for gas refill
₹1500 for valve
Total: ₹4000 every year, for each AC.
I asked, “How does the gas leak every single year?”
He replied, “There’s a drain nearby, that’s why the gas leaks.”
But there is no drain near my house.
Then he said, “It has an aluminum coil, and the heat is too much.”
I said, “But it has a 5-year warranty. You said nothing would happen.”
He replied, “The compressor is fine, but the coil has a hole.”
So I asked, “What about the warranty?”
He said, “Ma’am, gas can leak anytime. There’s no warranty for that.”
This isn’t just a story about an AC.
It’s about a system that somehow always makes you feel like you’re at fault.
Have you also faced similar “gas leak” issues with your AC or refrigerator?
Do share your experience.
Entry to Indirapuram from NOIDA blocked for metro work, NOT for Indirapuram, for Electronic City which is not really a good last mile away. This is a reflection on people who we chose for Indirapuram, other than others.
