@NCSUFans as long as you’re willing to accept the timing consequences. You fire him postseason & your candidates have since been hired (or effectively hired) in exchange for the loyalty you showed DD…. now what do you do as an administrator? What is best for the school & the program?
@Salzy0991 The high school schedule would have no bearing on an announcement here. The process will run its due course. The silence from Boo is the most curious, would expect there to be some sort of press conference.
@FormerAppAthlts his ass ought to have a ringed scar on it from all the seasons he was on the hot seat. He needs to thank UNC for bailing him out of it time after time.
@CollegeFBonX if you want a sports graveyard, go to Maryland. Anywhere else is better than that. NC State is a better job than Baylor for finding success outside of the microscope.
@wonderwhy60@PatrickWelter@murphsturph have to believe he is the leader in the clubhouse. He could always hire #17 as QB coach and go from there. That would be a tandem!
@HuskersMN He might really want to consider this. I don’t think he’s done in Lincoln, but it might not be long. Trading a short leash for a longer one is definitely a plus!
@jwckauman@PackFootball all the feels. But no experience. Fail and we lose a prodigal son, and the program is set back years from where it is now. Not saying he won’t be another Brind’Amour, but there aren’t many of them out there, so rare. I don’t take the chance. Cost benefit math doesn’t work.
