This is all he will be remembered for. A human rights advocate who turned into a genocide advocate.
He has outlived his usefulness.
Watch closely where he ends up.
The cushy position will be his little token of thanks from the Establishment. Blair territory. Morally despicable.
They'll call him a "decent man." He is not.
He oversaw one of the most aggressive assaults on British civil liberties in generations, all to protect Israel's genocide and Britain's participation in the crime of all crimes.
He shouldn't be resigning. He should be in The Hague
Maakurathu already had a futsal ground, when Muizzu decided he needed to pull a stunt for social media- They are framing this as a feel good story but the reality is Maakurathu has so many other critical needs when Muizzu decided this was important for his social media personality- Maakurathu doesn’t have clean water, despite everything being connected for water supply for over 2yrs, maakurathu health center is dysfunctional, Maakurathu doesn’t have a public library. This futsal ground was never in any plan, even land was meant to be green forest area in LUP- this was overreach by central government, disregarding the LUP.
in the first picture you see the LUP its allocated as a green forest area- second pic you can see old satellite image- lots of kanamadhu trees and palms- maakurathu women depend on these for their income, 3rd image shows existing futsal
ground on the east side of the island.
this is an injustice and over reach of central government dressed as a feel good story- @muththo@MMuizzu@MoYSF_mv
"We are the only people in history who are expected to witness our own genocide, and then watch what we say so we don't hurt the feelings of the people who did this"
(Susan Abulhawa, Palestinian/US scientist and writer)
Remember when Musk challenged the World Food Program to explain how he could solve world hunger with just $6 billion, they did, and he just completely ignored them?
For many years, I took barbs for refusing to call Israel's policy in East Jerusalem "ethnic cleansing". After all, there were 60,000 Palestinians in East Jerusalem in 1967, and 400,000 today. Occupation sucked, and included war crimes, but it wasn't ethnic cleansing.
That has changed now.
There are 3 Palestinian neighborhoods, all of whose residents are being or are about to be displaced: Batan al-Hawa and al-Bustan in Silwan, and Um Haroun in Sheik Jarrah. The latter two are being razed, or will be razed in the near future.
And immediately to the east, the Bedouin hamlet of Khan al-Akmar, adjacent to E-1, is about to be expelled, part of an attempt to "cleanse" Area C between East Jerusalem and the Jordan River valley of its Palestinian residents.
Regrettably, I can think of no other term to use other than "ethnic cleansing".
Jerry Seinfeld is trending because he's a fanatical genocidal Zionist who said "Palestine doesn't exist", so here's a reminder that when he was 39 he groomed a 17 year old and regularly picked her up at her high school, and lied about her actually being older
