The sambol that goes with rice/ strings/ bread is coconut sambol. Coconut sambol doesnt go with kiribath/pol Rotti/pittu.
This is not difficult to understand.
Pittu & pol Rotti already have coconut in it. You don't need more coconut in the form of as sambol.
