A critical element of human motivation is autonomy. If we can’t say no, our ability to say yes loses its power. If we want others to be deeply committed to something, we have to give them the right to their opinion - we have to give them autonomy.

The power of a book room is that we can build them to support the work kids are doing in the classroom (and have books in multiple copy sets) which gives kids access to even more texts! 3rd graders are about to be immersed into the world of biographies! @WestmoorD28
