Absolutely fantastic lecture today @CityUniLondon from @AuDHD_SLT on challenging ableism in the #SLT profession and in our practices. I learned so much and came away feeling very inspired. Thank you for visiting us! @CityLCS#NDASLT#mySLTday#SLT2B
I had my clinical visit on placement yesterday which I was very nervous about, but I received such lovely feedback and really helpful pointers to develop my clinical skills! The end of this masters course is beginning to be in sight now! ๐ #mystudentsltday#sltpeeps#slt2b#slt
@SLTJoe I defo used to have this Joe! My job before joining our masters involved a lot of calls and I remember Iโd take calls in private rooms when I first started so that nobody else could hear me ๐ it definitely got better with time and practice though!
Is anyone else finding the reporting around Bruce Willis frustrating?
I keep seeing it reported that he was diagnosed with "aphasia" last year and that this has developed into frontotemporal dementia.
This is not how Aphasia works. ๐งต
Hi #SLT Twitter! I want to know how early or late you applied for your first band 5 jobs. I will be graduating this summer & I'm interested to know how common it is for SLTs to apply before they finish their course! @RCSLT@RCSLTLearn@_CitySLT_@CityLCS#NQP#slt2b#mySLTday
