An agent writes the code now. Do you still need an IDE?
You do if you want to understand and verify what the agent did.
🎥 In our new video, we talk about the role of an IDE now that humans aren't the only ones working on the code. https://t.co/Fd7YyX43EV
✈️Better yet, try it yourself. The fastest way to get your hands on Air:

@equivalent8 Thank you for the suggestion! Core navigation and performance are things we keep optimizing. We don’t have plans for a separate “lite” edition of RubyMine right now, but here’s how you can make it more lightweight: disable the plugins you don’t use (Settings | Plugins - https://t.co/VBzHpVM5SX ) and hide the tool windows/toolbars you don’t need with Distraction-free mode (https://t.co/03yWZjYVQV) for a clean, navigation-focused layout.
We also have more performance tips here: https://t.co/waCsWPSzvH
Thanks again!
🔍 What if your AI agent could drive the debugger for you?
The new rubymine-debugger skill enables compatible AI agents to use the RubyMine debugger as part of their investigation workflow, helping you resolve complex issues faster.
Try it now!
🤖Let AI agents drive the debugger!
Offload the routine work of debugging to AI agents.
Describe the issue in natural language and let the agent launch debug session, set breakpoints, inspect runtime state, investigate your code.
