@gssram Does not mean I am not buying shit anymore. Still am. Almost always grouping things together for the free delivery. Only once have I had to pay for 2 day shipping when I wanted something just before a vacation. $6 vs $140 specially when i don’t use Video/KindleUnlimited etc.

@gssram I cancelled Prime last year and have successfully managed to avoid it till now. Like you said planning helps, but its mostly a mindset change. I’m trying to cut down impulse purchases and this has helped.

@sandipb And the reason I put “at the time” in quotes is because once you have setup the app, you can then switch out the sim and the app will continue to work, no problem. So then what kind of security feature is this? Why cant an OTP from another device work? No answers.

@sandipb There are so many issues with the online/mobile banking system. Like you cannot install/activate the bank app on a mobile device that does not have the linked phone number’s simcard in it “at the time”. Why?? So ipad, cdma devices are out for no reason!

The weirdest, most dramatic thing I’ve ever witnessed was when the man standing next to me on Pier39 watching the sea lions, suddenly stripped in the November cold & jumped naked into the water. The sea lions were traumatized & kept barking furiously. He was eventually arrested.

What is up with the horribly gaudy storefronts of these new vape/smoke shops springing up everywhere? The LED/Neon lights and posters are such an eyesore. Is it just a DC/NoVA thing cause I don’t think I’ve seen these elsewhere?

Someone please explain the Barbie hype to me. I’m not getting it. I would normally not watch that going by the visuals and the trailer. But Robbie, Gosling, Greta Garwig in it? Is there an angle I’m missing?

@gssram Hmm.. the franchise hype makes sense. I had a Barbie growing up but I still don’t get it. There were no stories AFAIK atleast comics had stories/plot etc, it was just a doll.
