@jamrockerz11@JamaicaGleaner And if you had actually watched the parliament last night the leader of government business made it known that he isn't tabling them and waiting until the court decides as the court ruled its the PARLIAMENT who decides
@Marie24Dee We all know y'all love the speaker but its actually leader of government who makes the decision and gave the reason for his decision yesterday
@JasmonjamSmith@gavinmyaz Always!!!! And out her representing a civil society group. @floydgreenja was very clear yesterday, and when @MarkJGolding saw he couldn't get the upper hand on Green, he left. He said parliament is waiting on the decision by the court like they did with member Ian Hayles
@gavinmyaz The leader of the government was VERY clear in explaining the government stance. Go watch it. What constitutional rights do the houses have to delay the tabling of Ian Hayles report until AFTER the ruling by the Supreme Court?
@JamaicaGleaner@integrityja If @integrityja does all they need to do correctly, the court will rule in their favor and the report in question will be table after, just like we saw in the Ian Hayles matter.
@JamaicaGleaner@integrityja Gleaner stopped conflating the issue. It's only 1 report that actually being delayed, n it's due to being tied to the Supreme Court. Jus like previously was the court makes their decision Gordon house will act accordingly.
