Trying to get more clarity on Dr. Daniel Cooper’s role here and when.
Cooper is the Cowboys team doctor and is a premiere knee specialist.
As stated by Shan below, Schefter in the clip
says “Cooper was one of the doctors who reviewed the images and the Ravens then felt compelled to back out of this trade”.
He has taken on quite a number of tricky knee cases.
Possibly explains the Cowboys being out early. Genuinely thought they would re-approach.
They, too, knew the knee would take some time and were aggressive to the end just didn’t want to give up 2 1’s.
I get Rashan Gary’s familiarity with scheme, line and coach but the immediate no and Dr. Cooper nugget is very interesting to me
