@Orangeweb3CMO@orange_web3 Thank you. Yeah I'm planning out next steps for Luminor, especially interested to see how far AI can go in building out a larger game. This result has definitely given me the confidence and opportunity to push forward. Such a great contest and community.
Wow, I’m blown away that Luminor took 1st place.
Never thought I’d make it this far. There were so many awesome entries, from apps to games, all very creative.
Massive thank you to @orange_web3, @vibecodinglist, the judges, and everyone who checked it out.
Big respect to all the other builders who submitted. The creativity and positive vibes were wild. 🙏
🏆WINNER: Luminor🎉
🔸 Created by: @ruffrobot
🔸What it is: Traverse a 3D alien planet as a luminous entity, feeding on lumites to grow and threading through darkness. Glide across undulating terrain and collect resources before time runs out.
❓Why it works:
Luminor blends sleek visuals with smooth, light-trail movement gameplay, offering a modern, relaxing twist on the classic Snake formula. Its minimalist design and satisfying flow make it ideal for casual players.
You were all winners in the $100K USD #orangevibejam but congratulations to the winner @ruffrobot who bags a cool $25K USD for his version of a snake game. This is the beginning of the creator economy on @orange_web3 and I for one am very excited $ORNG
@Gregor101477942@orange_web3 Thank you George! I really appreciate it 😀 ... I've been working on multiplayer in the background but it's quite a massive task
@lakshaychn9@levelsio@threejs The background is procedurally generated. Stars are textured cube mesh with twinkling effects and colors, and the sun is layered sprites with some pre-made (not runtime) flare textures.
@0xdellwatson@levelsio@threejs Thanks. It adjusts quality settings on the fly to try and maintain smooth performance. Less laggy gameplay. If device struggles it starts downgrading effects
