I read a quote somewhere here on @X 'If you are not embarrassed at your first product launch, you launched it too late' and I have been trying to fight it like my life depends on it, idekw 😂 but today, I agree :) I have been silently making it right and launch it when its ready but no more , 1. because its still far from a complete product and I need real feedback, 2. I am running out of my savings to keep going . But for what its worth, I am happy I made it this far .. I will launch my first POC today , wish me luck people :)
I claimed @lakshay9 on OpenShaders and got my one-of-one shader. What will yours look like? https://t.co/t0nRhEbmjd
- @davidhaz David its such a cool idea! would love to know more about how you are making each shader unique to each username :)
AI is funny, you ask it to build something and make it design beautiful and it will give you the most basic, AI slop of a webpage/ layout.. But on other hand you ask it to take role of a great design engineer and ask for critic of your work and it will somehow have the most human understanding of design, colors and surprisingly how psychology reads 😂
Just f*cking do things.
Don't ask for permission.Don't second-guess yourself. Don't delay taking action. Experiment like a madman. Assume you know nothing. Feel the fear and do it anyway.
Have the same sense of urgency as a stage 4 cancer patient. Be humble like Keanu Reeves.
Let your obsession take over your life. Turn your inner circle into a cult. Get them to help you do things. Work out in between work sessions.
Send 1000 emails. Send 500 DMs. Call everyone you know for help. Speak to strangers. Go harder and faster than feels normal. Be inspired while knowing you're inspiring others by doing things. You might look insane. You may not fit in.
Friends may reject you. And you might feel alone. All you can control is what you do. It's all that matters. Everything else is BS. Take relentless action.
I read every DM people send me, even if I don’t reply to all. I’m constantly learning about new ideas, ways to improve our product, where we’re falling short, who could join our company next, where to invest… very grateful for the @x platform.
@Jason______A 'You do not have to be the smartest person in the room. You just have to be willing to enter the room, get embarrassed, make mistakes, and stay long enough to figure it out.' - I love this sentence ! most important part is to have the humility to be embarrassed and keep going ->
There’s something powerful about seeing someone and thinking, “If that guy can do it, I can do it too.”
More than 12 years ago, I was selling exotic cars to affiliate marketers. I assumed they were all computer hacker geniuses. I can barely turn my laptop on most days, so I figured this world wasn’t for me and stayed in my lane.
Then one day, a guy walked into my office who was so dumb I’m not sure he could string two logical sentences together.
I remember thinking “If this guy can do it, I can definitely do it.”
That single thought changed the trajectory of my entire life. I pivoted, dove in headfirst, and figured it out as I went (I had the help of an amazing mentor named Dave)
Last night, I was at a private e-commerce event and met a guy doing more than a billion dollars a year in sales.
He’s relatively “new” to e-commerce, only five years in.
I asked how he got started.
He told me he saw a YouTube video of some guy doing massive numbers and thought, “If that guy can do it, I can do it too.”
So he pivoted, dove in headfirst, and figured it out as he went.
Now let me be that guy for someone else.
I’m legitimately not smart.
I’m technologically illiterate.
I’m impulsive, impatient, disorganized, stubborn, and I have a wild temper.
I’ve made nearly every mistake possible and invented a few new ones along the way.
But somehow, I’m still doing it.
You do not have to be the smartest person in the room. You just have to be willing to enter the room, get embarrassed, make mistakes, and stay long enough to figure it out.
If I can do it, you can do it too.
It’s that simple.
dude @grok build is extremely powerful ! I just made a component using it in which I had difficulty in for few days now.. the funny thing is, I was using grok 4.6 in cursor yet the quality seems much different in grok build terminal
