Take a hard look at your application bc next yr will only get harder. Where can you improve? & if you’re a prelim or in a research spot- meet w/mentors EARLY about how to get the best letters moving forward. (IMO letters are the best thing to improve)

Man it really bothers me when people label certain specialty residency programs as “easy.” All it does is invalidate any mental/physical challenges trainees may have, and it’s just flat out wrong.

1. GET YOUR ALLIES IN ORDER. EVERYONE. Residents, faculty, attendings, chairs. You name it. If they can vouch for you, it builds a program’s attention and trust in you. #Match2024 #soap2024
