the hospital called us. she had a new series of seizures and apparently is in a critical state

she already had a few strokes 3 weeks ago and was hospitalized ever since. she first lost the use of her left arm and hand and had less energy than before

now, she cannot move or even talk. she only replies by blinking from time to time. she seems conscious but still she cannot articulate and express herself

the doctors seem very alarmist. my whole family is very tensed. some are preparing for her repatriation to her home country to be buried there. others are more optimist and believe that the doctors are simply over-reacting, and that she will be ok

i don’t really know where to stand between all of that. therefore i accept whatever that happens

it was weird seeing my mom yesterday. 6 months ago she was as healthy as someone can be. now i can’t even communicate with her

she cannot eat. she cannot use her phone. she cannot even stand up or talk

it’s an interesting time. but I remember asking God for growth for this year 2026.

I asked God for growth and I asked Him to make me a Man

maybe that was what I needed to finally become one. I’m grateful for this year and I am ok with whatever will happen next

it might be blurry. it might be uncertain. but I’m calm and grounded through all of it
