While there has been about 1000 vessels that have passed through since May 2026, the volume of oil specifically has plummeted in recent weeks, to a practical trickle.

These kinds of posts are made to deceive American audiences, but they don’t deceive the physical oil tankers waiting to get out. In fact, there are reportedly 800 tankers backlog right now, but no one trusts the United States claim of “free and open” passage. Two ships were hit by Iran just yesterday bc they didn’t clear their passage via IRGC protocols.

Very few people trust the United States, and definitely don’t want to risk their assets getting hit based on fake claims like these.

I have significant doubts this is true. President Trump already had a deal, with the MOU, and he got impatient with it, days into the agreement, and started using force against Iran to compel submission, which didn’t work.

Now he has boxed himself into a corner – yet again – by declaring he’s giving Iran “one last chance“ to do a good deal. If President Trump now goes and makes a deal as bad or worse than the MOU, he is humiliated — and there is no logical reason why Iran would give him a face-saving deal, so he lives politically to fight again another day.

Still, the most viable path is the “walk away“ plan, where he doesn’t even have to worry about what Iran does or doesn’t do, he can just withdraw American forces from the blockade, and stop shooting at Iran when they administer the SOH according to their plan.

I know that’s hateful for many Americans to hear, but there’s nothing that’s going to stop that as it is, so stop searching for some magical deal that gives Trump a fig leaf cover, because Iran is not going to participate in such a deal.

⭕️ 🇵🇸 NEW: The US-led Board of Peace claims Israeli withdrawal comes only after Hamas fully disarms. Its own published roadmap says otherwise.

In a statement Monday after its envoy Nickolay Mladenov met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the US-led Board of Peace overseeing Gaza said that "contrary to inaccurate reports," Israeli forces would withdraw "beyond the Yellow Line" only "once decommissioning is complete," and that this applied to "light weapons, heavy weapons, and the tunnels alike."

Both claims are contradicted by the text of the roadmap the Board itself published.

🔹 On sequencing:
The statement says withdrawal comes only after disarmament is complete. But Clause 8 of the published roadmap says the disarmament process "shall be linked to an Israeli withdrawal, in phases, from the areas under its control in Gaza," and tied to the decommissioning of Israeli-backed militias under Clause 10. The document describes a reciprocal, phased process that moves in tandem, not a sequence in which Hamas must fully disarm before Israel withdraws.

🔹 On scope:
The statement says the deal covers "light weapons." It does not. Clause 8 lists only "heavy weapons, military production sites, depots of weapons, and tunnels." A Palestinian commitment to remove light weapons appears nowhere in the text. The Board appears to have added them.

The reframing matches longstanding Palestinian complaints. Hamas negotiators, including Ghazi Hamad and Basem Naim, have explicitly stated that no disarmament step precedes Israeli withdrawal first to the original line (53% of Gaza), and next completely out of Gaza, and that the two are bound together.

Drop Site journalist Jeremy Scahill called the Board's statement "filled with lies," describing a pattern in which Palestinian negotiators reach a deal, Israel then demands new terms, and the US and its allies present those terms as if they were part of the original agreement.
