Life is rich and varied at St. Rumon’s where our pupils are at the heart of everything we do. Our vision is to Dream, Achieve and Inspire in all we do.
Well done to all our children's achievements this term it has been an amazing term with many children (and adults) demonstrating our Learning Powers! @stchris_trust
Dragonflies children are over the moon with our new knitted number blocks created and donated by Mrs Charlesworth's friend's mum - Moira Bawden. What a fantastic resource to bring the number blocks to life and allow children to develop their understanding of number.
Small but mighty. Super visit to St Rumon’s Infant School today. Lovely to see such a strong vision for the school and continual developments taking place. @StPetersCofEJu1@rumon_st
What an experience the children at St Rumon's, @StPetersCofEJu1 and @LadyModifords today! A fab panto performance at the town hall. A highlight for the children (and mainly staff) was Mrs Potty! Thanks to the PTA for organising it. The children loved it!
We had an amazing visit from a special person with the @LionsTavistock, who presented the school with an amazing gift. We now have a portable bluetooth speaker with microphone to help us at sports days and other events.
The children of St Rumon’s, @StPetersCofEJu1 and @LadyModifords were treated to a pantomime of Beauty and the Beast. There was lots of booing (oh no there wasn’t!)
Remembrance Day was very special across our schools. It was made even better thanks to Mrs Charlesworth and our governors Mr Moore and Mrs Towsend. They created 2 amazing spaces. Children were invited to come and take time to remember those who gave their lives for our country.
Grandparent's day Before half term, we had a wonderful day with our grandparents. They were treated to some lovely sing from the whole school and an opportunity to look and share in their learning. We were delighted that so many of them could attend.
An inspirational talk from Colin today really helped my thinking and understanding about neurodiversity in our learners and what we can do. Lots of ideas to share with colleagues @stchris_trust
Our theme this year is Dress to Express with everyone dressed in a way that expresses something about who they are. Each class is sharing a book that celebrates diversity. It's wonderful to see a school full of people proud to be who they are. #youbeyou#WorldBookDay2024
Super special visit to @rumon_st today - a beautiful, historically significant building, providing a unique setting for rich purposeful learning opportunities. Happy children thriving! #achievedreaminspire @stchris_trust #flourishingcommunities
