The Supreme Court of Queensland overturned a law banning children from bringing “knives” to school for religious reasons. This will allow Sikh students, parents, and teachers to carry daggers.

In NSW a Sikh student stabbed another students on school grounds with one of these daggers.

Die Familie Digwas führte das Drehbuch der Lüge an. Der Bruder rief die Polizei und behauptete, Henry sei der Aggressor und rassistisch gewesen. Digwas Schwager beschuldigte Henry fälschlicherweise, rassistische Beleidigungen verwendet zu haben, und auch der Bruder, der den Notruf tätigte, gab an, dass Henry rassistisch gewesen sei. In der Familie half man sich. Sie hielten den sterbenden Jungen fest, seine Mutter beseitigte die Tatwaffe, niemand rief einen Krankenwagen. Eine organisierte Vertuschung, bei der die Polizei bereitwillig mitspielte.

Die Polizei? Die Beamten kamen, glaubten sofort den Sikhs und behandelten Henry wie einen Schwerverbrecher. Die Bodycam zeigt, wie Henry mehrfach sagt: "Ich wurde erstochen" und "Ich kann nicht atmen". Ein Polizist antwortet ihm: "Ich glaube nicht, dass du erstochen wurdest, Kumpel". Er wurde auf die Seite gedreht, gefesselt und ihm wurde sogar sein Recht vorgelesen – während er verblutete. Die Polizei bestellte erst einen Krankenwagen, nachdem er ohnmächtig geworden war. Die Sanitäter konnten nur noch seinen Tod feststellen.

Der Mörder wurde wie ein Zeuge behandelt. Er saß auf einem Stuhl, durfte seine Geschichte erzählen, während Henry im Sterben lag. Ein Familienmitglied gab später zu, dass das Geständnis gegenüber dem Gericht teilweise falsch war. Digwa wurde erst in Handschellen abgeführt, nachdem er bereits lange in Polizeigewahrsam war – Henry hingegen starb in Handschellen.

Premier Starmer? Er twitterte Mitgefühl für die Familie, weigert sich aber, die religiöse Ausnahme für Messer abzuschaffen, die Mördern wie Digwa die Tatwaffe legal in die Hand drückt. Ein Messer ist ein Messer, Punkt. Der Premier setzt hier die falschen Prioritäten.

Trotz allem wurde Digwa zu einer lebenslangen Haftstrafe mit einer Mindestverbüßungsdauer von 21 Jahren verurteilt – eine angemessene Strafe für einen kaltblütigen Mord. Die Polizei hat sich selbst zur Untersuchung an das Independent Office for Police Conduct verwiesen, und die Polizei- und Verbrechensbeauftragte von Hampshire fordert eine nationale Überprüfung der religiösen Ausnahmeregelung für Klingen.

Aber die Wunde bleibt tief. Henrys Vater sagte es am deutlichsten: "Er wurde wie ein Stück Dreck behandelt, während sein Mörder Würde erfuhr. Henry starb nicht mit Würde. Er verlor das Bewusstsein, bevor ihm jemand glaubte".

Ein Gesetz, das Mörder privilegiert, ein Polizeiapparat, der die falsche Partei bevorzugt, und ein Premier, der die falschen Prioritäten setzt. Während Frauen für Pfefferspray kriminalisiert werden, dürfen Sikhs tödliche Klingen tragen. Eine Schande.

This is the heartbreaking and infuriating story of Henry Nowak.

An 18-year-old White British student, stabbed to death in Southampton by Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old migrant who carried a 21cm blade as part of his Sikh faith. When police arrived, Digwa lied and claimed racial abuse. The cops handcuffed Henry as he bled out on the street… and he died in those handcuffs.

Henry cried out “I've been stabbed” and “I can't breathe.”

The Sikh man who stabbed Henry assured police that he was a racist.

Officers believed the killer, handcuffed Henry and told him he did not get stabbed.

They watched him die.

This is Henry Nowak

He was stabbed by a Sikh man while walking home from a night out with university friends. When police arrived, the attacker falsely claimed racial abuse. Officers handcuffed the dying Henry, the actual victim bleeding out on the street. They treated him as a suspect instead of providing life-saving aid. Henry said many times that he can’t breathe but they ignored him. This led to Henry’s death.

Henry was only 18.

His life was precious.
