I’ve launched a bunch of stuff on the Internet. Some good, some bad, some worse yet.
But everything I’ve launched with a payment page has gotten paid customers.
Not because I’m so smart, it’s just not as hard as you think.
Just launch. That’s the only step that matters. 🚀

@t_jay114@TheJobfather__ This is likely true unless you work in government. The interviewing company will not like it but they also likely have a policy against publishing their salaries. You present as a professional who plays by the rules.
@t_jay114@TheJobfather__ “My previous employer considers compensation to be proprietary information, so I regret that I am not at liberty to disclose this information. However, I can see on https://t.co/9fGmySITir and other places that this role is worth $X.”
@DOStatus Also it would be really nice if App Platform deployments wholly located in NYC were immune from subsea cable faults in the APAC region. What's the point of the regions if they are not isolated?
@monicabyrne13 In cars, as long as they are still short enough to need one, so maybe as late as 10. At tables, depends a lot on the table but usually somewhere around 4-5 they stop needing them. Also if they kneel in the chair (some kids won’t sit), they can stop more like 2-3.
@FairweatherPhD The contracts are 3 years, longer than any recession in recent decades. It is entirely rational to push their issues now rather than lock in a subpar agreement until 2026 (when we might be facing another recession, who knows?).
@maiab@peter Huge, enormous vehicles, absolutely filled edge to edge with stroller. (We have a tandem stroller that’s really big.)
Advise getting an umbrella stroller, not durable but great for trips about town. (Also good to buy after your flight lands, so you don’t have to travel w/one.)
@monicabyrne13 Even before Covid, I was hesitant to take a cruise given that’s the only context I’ve ever heard mention of Legionnaire’s disease. Legionnaire’s is frequently spread through air handling units.
I speculate that most cruise lines haven’t installed preventative measures recently.
Hey @auth0, it looks like login is down. Our users are not able to login, and I am unable to successfully login to Auth0 to report the incident.
Could you please 1) update the status page and 2) provide an ETA on a resolution?
@LadyA08 I understand there were personal finance products tailored to people with their wealth tied up in e.g. startup equity. It’s a specialized niche.
@LadyA08 (More) willing to lend to companies that do not have assets that can be readily repossessed, which is most tech companies. Also much VC stipulated that funds must be held at SVB, so it wasn’t a choice for many startups.
So the conclusion is 1 of 3:
* The whole of Silicon Valley has no idea how to run a competent business
* There was some financial chicanery that led to a requirement to bank at SVB without an ICS backstop
* This is all a Big Lie to engineer a bailout
@DavidSacks can tell us which
Silicon Valley Bank’s shareholders and executives lose it all, as they should. Depositors in good faith, however, should recover and have access to their deposits in order to meet their payrolls, pay their suppliers, and to prevent contagion.
