@77gqtdcbv6 My kid is the actual chef but yeah, we're hosting. Almost certainly the last year my mom will remember who I am (Alzheimers) and possibly the last year my aunt will be alive. I'll do all the dishes slowly to have a little more treasured time with them.

Conventional media is plausible because it's easy. (Of course, it's easy to fact-check but it would be nicer to be able to trust reporting than have to question all of it.)

Serious indie journalism seems to have more credibility lately.

And I remember death threats within this country before TFG was ever elected. Covid deniers. Racists. Homophobes. The religious right protecting guns but not women's autonomy - and that's WITHOUT him.
