As we enter 2026, here's a look back at what the Zano ecosystem accomplished in 2025.

Ecosystem Projects Launched

Major projects went live on Zano's privacy infrastructure in 2025, leveraging Confidential Assets to achieve the same privacy level as native $ZANO.

Freedom Dollar (@freedomdollar5) launched as a privacy stablecoin with verifiable reserves. Confidential Layer (@ConfidentialLyr) enabled transparent assets from other blockchains to become private on Zano. Obscura (@obscura_NFT) brought private NFTs to the ecosystem, while ZanoBay (@teamzanobay) launched a P2P marketplace for trading goods with $ZANO and $fUSD. https://t.co/laWPURbfF5 (@ZanoX_io) integrated Zano for gift cards, sports betting, and lottery services. Numerous other partnerships throughout the year continued expanding Zano's accessibility and utility.

Strategic Integrations

Zano expanded its reach through key partnerships and integrations. Zebec (@zebec_HQ) enabled users to spend Zano with their debit card solution. DFX (@DFX_swiss) made it possible to pay with Zano at 100+ SPAR supermarkets. Alchemy Pay (@alchemypay) added on-ramp infrastructure, and Cake Wallet (@cakewallet) brought Zano to their non-custodial multi-currency wallet. Numerous other partnerships throughout the year continued expanding Zano's accessibility and utility.

Technical Milestones

Development milestones marked significant progress for Zano's privacy-first infrastructure. The on-chain voting system launched, enabling decentralized governance. @_cryptozoidberg achieved a breakthrough in consensus architecture that will be implemented in 2026. The mobile wallet saw major upgrades, bringing improved UX and new features. Ongoing protocol improvements and infrastructure development continued throughout the year.

Events and Workshops for Adoption

The Zano team participated in key events throughout 2025 to spread awareness and drive adoption. At ETHdam and Crypto Drinks organized by @CryptoCanal, the team showcased Zano's privacy infrastructure and networked with industry peers. At PorcFest (@PorcFest), the team conducted workshops demonstrating to libertarians how they can reclaim their financial privacy with Zano, introducing new audiences to privacy-by-default infrastructure. In 2026, the team will attend many more relevant events to expand Zano's reach.

New Exchange and Swap Platform Listings

Getting Zano became easier in 2025 with new integrations across exchanges and swap platforms. Exchanges like, @BitMartExchange, @ourbit, and @AscendEX_ added Zano listings. Also swap platforms like, @ChangeHero, @LetsExchange, and @PegasusSwap integrated Zano for instant swaps. These integrations expanded the ways users can acquire and trade Zano.

Looking Ahead to 2026

2026 advances Zano to the next level with major ecosystem developments and growing adoption. The new consensus implementation, Zano Lite Wallet launch, enhanced finality improvements, and strategic partnerships are on the roadmap.
