@scottdotnetdev@kylaschwaberow I’m at 18K miles with 97% FSD mostly chill mode/accel, have rotated twice… They look new. Pirrelli Scorpion MS. ‘26 MY Juniper.
@SawyerMerritt One additional comment on range… during the trips, I usually drive 70-75 mph and supercharge after 4 hrs. Longest stretch to-date 292 miles. Sav, Ga to Hendersonville, NC. Daily commute right now, range is about 380 miles (215 Wh/mi)
@robolivermd@niccruzpatane Maybe over 500 miles (+7 hrs), fly, but I enjoy FSD driving… most cars have comparable depreciating rates (50% +/- 10%) after 3yrs… but this BEV likely will have saved me $6-8K in those 3 yrs. Do you have a BEV?
@robolivermd@niccruzpatane Not with adequate planning. 1800 mile stressfree FSD roundtrip to Savannah and back, about $100 supercharging (SC)… Grok not factoring in maint. & fuel savings is 50% (SC) and home/work charging (+80%)… what other vehicle will provide $2K saving/yr with safe, stressfree driving
@DevolutionCOC1@niccruzpatane In a newer Tesla, running climate control with an outside temperature of approximately 20° F, I’ve consumed 1-3 KW… 24hrs not driving would estimate 24 to 48 KWh, 30-60% of my full battery capacity. ICE vehicles?
@robolivermd@niccruzpatane .20/mile depreciation is more realistic (with tax credit factored in). So far for me, ~15k miles driven - maintenance: tire rotation and windshield fluid. Savings vs ICE (6-mos snapshot)
@Mgolo329@niccruzpatane ‘26 MY Long Range… 357 miles rated range… Usually stop after 4 hrs, 280-300 miles of driving. You could wait for the MY L likely coming to U.S. later this year, 400 mile range (?)
@TeaW624@niccruzpatane Grok can assist in locating hotels with complementary L2 EV charging… spent $83 supercharging one-way, one night hotel stay travelling 1200 miles Miami to Indianapolis.
