@jameshay218@michaelmina_lab Yeh symptom onset date is what the epi curve is traditionally defined by, and is still used widely in PH departments as the gold standard. Lack of resources for case investigation (which asks about symptom onset) would be a justifiable reason for using your proposed method/CT.

A recent analysis from Oxford presented a range of model scenarios consistent with observed COVID death counts. I’m going to reproduce their analysis here and then present some slight modifications to provide a conservative (if technical) perspective. (gonna be 15ish tweets)
But also suggesting that the walking well might not be entirely well on careful assessment. Major emphasis here on subclinical and incipient TB. We have to reconsider our paradigms.
