@NyonyoziUg and all our young people: In traditional Banyankore(Hima) culture, the so-called "POTABLE LEGS"(small and agile) were an abomination; omukyeeno! Equated to OBUMUGA- disability, and characterised as "OBUGURU BW'ENKWENGYE"! Enkwengye is a green coloured bird famous for its speed and agility when running 🏃‍♀️ to eat raw maize 🌽 in gardens.

Now, in CHWEZI/Hima culture, the gold standard of legs was the NYABIRYO SIZE. Nyabiryo was a Muchwezi woman sister to Omuchwezi Kyomya from Isimbwa and Nyamiyonga......
These Nyabiryo legs are still sang today: "AGA NYABIRYO GA KARENGA ENTEEKO ISHATU"! Meaning her legs were of extrodinary size in shape, height, really the whole proportion. So when being adorned with ENYERERE(brass/copper coiled anklets), for NYABIRYO, unlike other Chwezi women whose standard benchmark count for leg adornement was ONE OR TWO won around the ankles, for her, it EXCEEDED THREE SETS(ENTEEKOS). They are depicted as having been TALL, with enlarged contours as they went down to fit the several PRIZED BRASS RINGS. For these traditional societies, these were markings of Semi-divine endowment!

But I get it; now it is characterised as Lipodema,etc...and it is okay. Nugwo murembe gwa mbweenu ogw'Endyooko!
