Muhammadiyah baru saja mengeluarkan Fatwa mengenai Kripto & Airdrop

Status Hukum Airdrop
Praktik airdrop (pembagian koin kripto gratis sebagai strategi promosi) pada dasarnya
dihukumi mubah (boleh). Dalam kacamata fikih, airdrop berstatus sebagai hibah
(pemberian cuma-cuma) atau ju‘ālah (upah atas jasa pemasaran). Meski demikian,
kebolehan ini terikat pada dua syarat utama sebagai berikut.
1. Tidak Melibatkan Perbuatan Batil. Airdrop menjadi haram jika syarat untuk
mendapatkannya melanggar syariat, seperti keharusan mempromosikan platform
judi, menyebarkan hoaks, membuat ulasan fiktif, atau mendukung proyek terlarang.
2. Bebas dari Unsur Riba (Pemutaran Dana Titipan). Airdrop juga diharamkan jika
mensyaratkan pengguna untuk mengendapkan dana yang kemudian diputar oleh
penyelenggara untuk bisnis mereka. Kondisi ini mengubah status dana dari titipan
(wadīʿah) menjadi pinjaman (qarḍ).
