In WW2, when enemy snipers were captured, instead of being taken prisoner, they were typically executed on the spot.

This is due to the psychological fear and frustration caused by snipers. They were seen as less honorable than regular infantry, and were seen as operating outside of “honorable” rules of conflict.

If a captured enemy was caught with a scoped rifle, the Geneva convention was ignored and the man was killed on the spot.

I can’t imagine what happens to drone operators today when they get captured.

I remember traveling with my ex and it was all going from one spot she's seen on instagram- taking a pic for the gram- and then on to the next one.
Not interested in the local cuisine, only whatever is the hot new viral thing.
If there was no instagram, the amount of young women travelling would fall dramatically.
