What's happened to Apple stores ? used to be great for dropping in and trying out a product before buying.
Popped into one today, with a view to buying a Laptop, 2 x Apple Watches and An iPhone.
Left the store with none of these, advice was just to order online 🤯
Usually I try to just ignore this type of stuff and get on with my day, but I recently switched from spotify to apple music for reasons™, and the desktop user interface is so comically poor that I have to make a thread highlighting what I came across in one session, strap in:
@flyosity This would be so rad. Technology aside the design has progressively got worse for me, I never liked the 4 design and feel like they have just riffed on that design ever since
Last week I hosted family for Thanksgiving.
My 12-year-old nephew asked for the WiFi password.
He wanted to play Roblox on his iPad.
I looked at the device.
Unmanaged. No antivirus. No encryption.
I’m an IT Professional. I don't run an open network.
So I didn’t give him the password.
Instead, I spent 45 minutes provisioning a Guest VLAN.
I set up a captive portal.
I throttled the bandwidth down to 56kbps.
Then I blocked all traffic on ports 80 and 443.
He came back crying. He said it wouldn't load.
My sister screamed at me to "just let him play."
I told her that Zero Trust architecture doesn't care about bloodlines.
We didn't have a "fun" Thanksgiving.
But we had a secure perimeter.
You’re welcome for the compliance.
@O2PriorityUK absolute mess - no seat I click on allows me to select it, then randomly get booted out - had to switch devices 3 times and still unable to purchase available tickets
I'm looking for a JUNIOR iOS Developer to join my team for an exciting opportunity in a growing industry. We've not released the product just yet, so forgive the vagueness. Feel free to send me a DM, recommend folks, etc.
Junior developers only, please!
