A saving grace is that my job is part of a union, so it’s actually the most secure job i’ve had since entering the work force 7 years ago.
The area i live in was built on nepotism so i couldn’t get a job without knowing someone.

@collinmckennaa @rjp6935 @InternetH0F A factor is that my job is part time. I can’t afford a car so my only truly reliable source of transportation is an unreliable public transit system.

I’ve asked about being transitioned to full time, and was told only management gets full time hours.

I live with family because i can’t afford an apartment, my job only offers part time aside from management level positions. Despite that i take every shift i can.

I don’t qualify for more than a few dollars worth of SNAP because of my income.

I can’t afford food. Not takeout. Not snacks. FOOD. I cook most of my food myself, curries, stews, steaks, potatoes, etc. i can get maybe 3-4 decent meals out of my paychecks
