This is particularly difficult at the NHS where caution quite rightly is the name of the game. However there are many areas where mavericks are needed to kick-start new thinking and this is especially true in the corporate areas.
We need a new paradigm that encompasses what you are describing alongside an approach where we are ok with our people taking more self control, more self centred even at the same time as retaining authentic care for patients.
To meet the challenges we now face, we have to develop belonging and trust and organizational cultures of compassion. We must come to see humanity as more collaborative, compassionate and caring to shape our future and the future of our planet.
Spot on. We need to work effectively with both, critical we keep reviewing emerging leadership or we will not move forward at the pace we need to in the NHS.
