Do not use @avivaplc Wrote a 2 new van off simply because of a backlog on the parts to repair the van. They then sold it to colpart after telling us it would be disposed of! Absolute con! COSMETIC DAMAGE ONLY and a fake write off. Offered us £200 compensation to go quietly!

On top of all new penalties and new rules around head contact, get anything slightly wrong, even by accident. You get fined! £250, £500 or even more! Imagine picking one of them up a week. End up having to pay subs to play! Not like we’ve got bills to pay or owt like 🙄

Love Rugby League has been told that the rules surrounding head contact WILL be relaxed for this week's World Club Challenge.

Penrith met with the RFL this morning, where they were told the recent tightening of guidelines won't apply this Saturday.

@sms8421 Brain health is important and if that's the reason for change then we would need to accept it but this decision undermines everything the rfl have said about player welfare being paramount. As shit as it would be, telling the Aussies our way or no game would have been the message

@TheRFL when will the extensive studies be made available to us? In recent years grassroots have gone above and beyond to promote concussion awareness. Times have changed & risks have lowered. Where is the evidence that these changes were necessary?

@AlexG6 Not forgetting, every single community coach at all age groups are obligated to take coach right and concussion training every single year now. It's not like it was. People are more aware of risks and head injuries are treated with the necessary precautionary measures

I am all for a safe sport, however the illegal tackles and video is confusing. All 3 illegal are below the armpit but defender is upright? What is it, below the armpit? Or you can’t be upright as a defender? Feel sorry for the officials who have to police this. More pressure.

If boxing and UFC can be insured and deemed safe enough to continue, RL surely doesn't compare with that level of danger?
Every parent signing their child up are fully aware of the risks of head knocks.

Saddened and disappointed with the @TheRFL announcement. The academy games that tried the rules out were farcical, people were literally walking out! The grassroots community don't want this.
