smth discussed in creative writing class is that "ideas are dead on arrival." when you're writing a story based off ideas instead of conflict, you're writing characters who talk about how they're feeling, never put them through anything. it's just a blog post, not a story

Man vs Baby (53/100)

Quite a frustrating watch. It's a show where you expect something to happen and then 5 minutes later it happens. Had enjoyed Man vs Bee far more. Weak payoffs and sloppy writing. Not even Rowan Atkinson's charm could make this enjoyable.

Horrible film! The premise was so interesting. And boy did it fail to deliver. Didn’t root for any character. There was no point to anything. The dialogue was so dry and boring that I would rather watch a Suits episode. This movie gave me a headache.

Enjoyed watching this show. It retains the weirdness and mundanity of its predecessor, but just thought the jokes could’ve been funnier. It’s a fascinating world, but there’s so much more they can do. Perhaps the next season.
