AI isn’t the future, it’s the now!
Artificial Intelligence is reimaging healthcare as we know it, transforming how we detect diseases, design treatments, and deliver patient care. From predicting health risks before they become crises to enabling data-driven, personalized treatment, AI is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in medicine.
Speaking on behalf of the PS at the 2nd Annual AI in Health Africa Conference, Ambrose Ruyooka, highlighted the power of emerging ICT innovations in shaping the future of healthcare. She called on innovators to utilize AI not to replace health workers, but to empower them, making healthcare smarter, faster, and more accessible for everyone.

Indeed across Africa, most countries have chosen AI strategies cascading from the AU framework. Ethiopia stands out with a National AI Policy.Uganda is moving deliberately-developing a Strategy & Governance Framework that will evolve into policy aligned to AU & global standards
🚀Use AI like a vehicle—decide the destination.
🤝 Ambrose Ruyooka (MoICT & NG) on using AI with intention, not fear—and why governments must move fast (right now, he notes, Ethiopia is the only African country with a global AI policy).

@IbascoLeague Honoured to be Special Guest. Spending six formative years at Ibanda SS taught me lessons of discipline, resilience, and finding purpose. My humble role as "Ballboy" gave me a love for the game and eventually led me into football administration at higher levels.
We greatly appreciate our Senior Old Boy, Mr. Ruyooka Ambrose, who honored us as a special guest during the grand opening of Ibasco League Season 3. Having spent six good years at Ibasco from the 1984’s , his presence was a true inspiration to both the young and senior OBs.
