The journal that rejected our article at desk review accepted our paper today. I had doubts about resubmitting the paper, but my colleagues did it.

I never dreamt of seeing my name as a co-author of an APA article, but it's about to happen in a highly cited one.

Hey don’t worry about it: my parents staged 2 interventions in my career. First, when I was admitted to my PhD full fellowship at Princeton, they told me I needed to understand that I’d be poor and have to give up the lifestyle I was accustomed to at home. (What?!) Second, when I moved into film as a now tenured professor and was at the EMMYs, nominated, in a ball gown and feeling pretty awesome and taking it all in drinking champagne standing beside the statue, they staged an intervention and told me they were very worried about me because I was betraying what I had set out to do. The difference in the gap? I laughed and said, well it’s not like I’m awful at storytelling… I mean, we’re at the EMMYs. Anyhow, I’m happy to report that I’m also still at the uni, and now as full professor. Moral of the story? Follow YOUR path. Congrats!

Last week, I was sad and hopeless about my research. Then a long weekend came, so I didn't think about it anymore. Focusing on my daughter's potty training and rest.

Our community stood up like never before to push for this crucial milestone in creating peace in #Palestine, and today, there is a tiny but important step in the right direction.

Now that the call has come, the end of the beginning nears as we shift our attention from words and wishes to lift this #ceasefire policy into the reality of action and deeds.

With renewed conviction and determination, we will be working harder than ever, and we know that you will continue to stand together as we push for peace and justice.
