In a significant move towards enhancing the professional environment within educational institutions, the Chandigarh Education Department acting on the advice of the Administrator UT Chandigarh has implemented and inducted an elegant uniform for teachers across government schools. This initiative has been first introduced in the PM Shri Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector-14, Dhanas, Chandigarh and has garnered high praise from Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, 26th April 2025: In a significant step towards eradicating drug abuse and safeguarding the future of the youth, the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of Chandigarh, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, officially flagged off a state-level week long campaign titled "VADA" (Victory Against Drug Abuse) at PM SHRI GMSSS Dhanas, where a 'Wish Tree' was installed on the campus.

An aptitude test was conducted from 15 to 21 April for the students of classes 9 -10 by Shiksha Bhavishyaaan certified by the AICTE and the MoE. The purpose of the test was to evaluate students’ cognitive abilities, logical reasoning, mathematical skills & verbal aptitude.
