Respected
@nsitharaman ji,
@FinMinIndia & @IncomeTaxIndia,
Request to extend Tax Audit due date from 30th Sept to 31st Oct 2026.
Reasons:
• Only 1 month left after non-audit ITR deadline (31st Aug)
• Insufficient time for quality audits & Form 3CD
• Risk of rushed compliance & errors
Kindly consider this genuine hardship of professionals.

📢 URGENT: Extend Tax Audit Due Date!
The Rajasthan Tax Consultants Association (est. 1976, 1800+ members) has formally urged the FM & CBDT to extend the AY 2026-27 Tax Audit Report & Form 10B/10BB deadline from 30th Sept ➡️ 31st Oct 2026.
Reasons cited:
📌 Barely a month available post-ITR season
📌 ITR utility updated as recently as 2nd Sept
📌 Portal glitches on AIS/TIS, e-filing
📌 New ICAI reporting formats for non-corporate entities
Genuine relief, not undue benefit. 🙏

Tax audit deadline should be extended from 30 Sep to 31 Oct.
A one-month gap after the ITR filing deadline of August 31 seems too short for many CA firms to complete their tax audits.
RT if you agree.
@nsitharamanoffc@IncomeTaxIndia
Tax Audit deadline should be extended from 30 Sep to 31 Oct.
For small & mid-sized CA firms, especially with TIER 2-3 City, completing quality tax audits within one month after the 31 Aug ITR deadline is practically very difficult.

No one demanded an extension of the 31 July or 31 August ITR due dates, as adequate time was available.
But expecting CAs to complete Tax Audits within just one month is practically unrealistic. A quality audit requires proper verification, review and reporting—not a rushed formality.
With the ITR filing deadlines approaching, the Government should extend the Tax Audit due date to 31 October.
Quality compliance needs adequate time.

Tax Audit due date must be extended to 31.10.2026.
TAR extension is not a demand for more time but it's for quality compliances.
Quality audit is not possible outside date extension.
Aur ITR file hue bina Tax Audit ka kya hi benefit h department ko✅🫡

No one demanded an extension of the 31st July or 31st August due dates because sufficient time was available.
But completing Tax Audit within one month is practically impossible. Quality audit requires proper verification, review and reporting.

Requesting @IncomeTaxIndia@FinMinIndia & @nsitharamanoffc to extend the Tax Audit report due date for AY 2026-27 by at least 15–30 days, preferably till 31st October 2026. The current timeline is too tight to complete the tax audit process properly. 🙏

The concept of ease of doing business is a sham at present! @FinMinIndia@narendramodi
1. Simple @GST_Council registration cannot be done without paying bribe

FM @nsitharaman ji a kind request to you
Kindly push the last date for filing #GSTR3B to 26th October so that Tax Practitioners & CAs can celebrate #Diwali with their families

#ICAI President writes a letter to Chariman #CBDT and suggested to look into the matter of granting parity and relief to various taxpayers and whose accounts are required to be audited as they have got less time because of extension of due date for filing Income tax returns where audit is not mandated.
