The meeting brought together the @RwandaAgriBoard SPIU Mgt team and @WorldBank mission team, led by Esdras Byiringiro (Agriculture Economist & TTL).
The joint mission will run from Sept 14 – Oct 7, 2026.

Today marks the kick-off day as @ASARECA & @RwandaAgriBoard join forces to transfer Azolla technology across Rwanda. This eco-friendly innovation delivers cost-effective livestock/poultry feed and organic soil fertility solutions directly to smallholder farmers.
✨ What’s happening on the ground:
🔹 Hands-on TOT & farmer capacity building
🔹 Establishing 2 regional demonstration hubs
🔹 Distributing Azolla starter kits (cultures, pond liners, manuals)
🔹 Scaling climate resilience & cutting farm input costs.

This Friday, DG of Agriculture Modernization @RwandaAgri@P_Karangwa chaired a steering committee meeting for The Agricultural Climate Resilience and Green Jobs Creation Project (CRCSP), implemented by @RwandaAgriBoard and Funded by @KOICA_Rwanda & the Government of Rwanda.
Only three months after its launch, the meeting that aimed at assessing the implementation progress noted with satisfaction project’s early achievements including 25% of a total radical terraces’ target of 300ha completed with more than 500 jobs created, mostly for women &youth.
